Notes for the day:
My husband alerted me Entertainment Weekly's "Web Obsession of the Week" - If you are a Journey fan, click HERE to see something funny...it's a fake movie trailer for "Journey at the Center of the Earth."
My little girl, Elena, as been after me for a year to get a short haircut. She usually changes her mind a lot, but in this one she persisted. At first, I wasn't sure what to do with her short hair - I'm used to long hair, easy ponytails, etc. But I think I finally figured out how to style it right- and I think it's adorable because it lets her look the way SHE wants to! Just look at how happy she is. Here's how her hair progressed over the last 12 months...

thank you for the building blocks alpha (blue). I'm going to make a gift for a neighbors daughter that just had a baby. She will love this...she used to babysit my son and now she's a new mama!!!
Thanks so much for your hard work. Your little girl is a real cutie-pie.
Your little girl looks really cute. I love long hair with ponytails on little girls, but she looks absolutely adorable with that short cut! And if she wanted that for so long, she must really have wanted it. ;) Well, I agree you have to be careful, can't glue it back if she changes her mind!
But she absolutely has an eye for it, she looks very pretty!!
I can't decide which I like better. They are both beautiful. Thanks much for sharing.
The blocks are just precious Jeanne! Thanks so much for making and sharing them!
Elena's hair looks just darling! What a happy face!
Hope you're feeling ok. I know you miss having all the little ones where they belong!
